Synopsis

Eat Meat is an experimental electronic video artwork created with the Datamax UV-1 graphics computer and the Sandin Analog Image Processor (IP). The piece combines live-action footage with rescanned computer graphics, processed through the IP for colorization and compositing. Originally produced for Plepys’ Master of Fine Arts Thesis Exhibition at the University of Illinois Chicago’s Electronic Visualization Laboratory, the work critiques our predominantly meat-eating culture, provocatively asking: what is the difference between pig and man?
