Synopsis
Combining hand-developed Super 8 images with a digital editing technique that arbitrarily extracts and blends each frame of film, SKINFLICKER reinterprets the form of flicker film and explores the representation of the body through surface (film) and fragmentation, accompanied by a rhythmic soundtrack played on the Irish bodhrán drum, itself made from animal skin.
