collectif Doplgenger

Doplgenger est un duo d'artistes fondé en 2006 par les deux cinéastes/vidéastes Isidora Ilic et Bosko Prostran, originaires de Belgrade. Leur travail concerne le lien entre l'art et la politique à travers l'étude des différents régimes d'image et leur réception. C'est par la déconstruction du médium filmique, du langage, de la structure et des notions de texte que l'on peut découvrir les façons dont l'art et les images en mouvement peuvent créer une réalité politique.

Doplgenger is an artist duo created in 2006 by Isidora Ilic and Bosko Prostran, film/video artists from Belgrade. The work of Doplgenger deals with relation between art and politics through exploring the regimes of moving images and modes of its reception. They deconstruct the film medium, language, structure and notions of text in order to discover the ways in which art/moving images participate in creating political reality.
