Michael Higgins

Michael Higgins est un cinéaste expérimental vivant et travaillant à Dublin (Irlande). Inspiré par le cinéma et les narrations visuelles, le travail d’Higgins implique une gamme de technologies analogiques et numériques, et traite de la perception du temps et de la réalité. Le medium cinéma l’intéresse dans la rupture qu’il créé avec le quotidien, révélant d’autres manières de percevoir. Il a commencé à réaliser des films et des vidéos en 2005. www.mgmh.me

Michael Higgins is an experimental filmmaker who lives and works in Dublin, Ireland. Inspired by cinema and visual narrative, Higgins' work involves a range of both digital and analogue technologies, and concerns people's perception of time and reality. Higgins is interested in using the filmmaking process to rupture the reality of the everyday, bringing to light alternative ways of seeing and experiencing. He started making film and video work in 2005 and successfully obtained a BSc. Degree in Multimedia in 2007. In 2011 Higgins graduated from a two year MFA-Art in the Digital World at Ireland’s National College of Art and Design. www.mgmh.me
